Coachella announces 2013 concert lineup

Across two weekends in mid-April, The Stone Roses, Blur, Phoenix and the Red Hot Chili Peppers will headline performances at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California.

The fest has revealed its complete lineup for the weekends of April 12-14 and April 19-21, with the Stone Roses, Blur, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Lou Reed and Modest Mouse leading the opening night of the three-day event.

Jurassic 5, Tegan and Sara, Band of Horses, Passion Pit and Of Monsters and Men will also perform on April 12 and April 19.

In addition to Phoenix on April 13 and 20, Coachella attendees will hear from the XX, Postal Service, Sigur Rós, New Order, Hot Chip, Major Lazer, Bat for Lashes, Moby, 2 Chainz and Grizzly Bear.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers will close out each weekend, along with Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Vampire Weekend, Social Distortion, the Lumineers, La Roux and the Wu-Tang Clan.

Passes to both weekends will go on sale starting January 29 at 10 a.m. PT. (Sorry to tell some of you, but layaway is no longer an option.)
