A popular Valley destination was in the spotlight on the latest edition of "The Bachelorette", and Air15 captured exclusive video of the reality dating show action.
In Monday's episode, the show's star -- Southern belle Emily Maynard -- traveled to her four remaining suitors' hometowns to meet their families.
Among her final four is Arie Luyendyk Jr., of Scottsdale, who in late April brought Maynard to Phoenix International Raceway during his "hometown date".
Luyendyk Jr. is a race car driver and son of Indianapolis 500 winner Arie Luyendyk.
Air15 caught video of the couple's action-packed date on April 24. Video showed the couple walking along the track together as the production crew followed closely behind.
“We are thrilled to host Arie and Emily on part of their hometown date,” said track President Bryan R. Sperber, “Race fans should keep an eye out for the blue wall of their favorite race track on July 2 and cheer on their hometown.”
The high energy date may have paid off -- reports indicate Luyendyk Jr. makes it past the latest elimination and is among Maynard's top three suitors.
