BAKERSFIELD, CA - A jailed actor best known for his role in a spy movie spoof has faced a California judge for the first time.
Joseph Son, who played Dr. Evil's shoe-throwing henchman Random Task in the first "Austin Powers" movie, is accused of killing his prison cell mate, Thomas Graham, two years ago.
Son arrived at Wasco State Prison, near Bakersfield, Calif., in September 2011 to serve out a life sentence for a 1990 gang rape in Orange County.
A month after arriving, prison officials found his 50-year-old cell mate dead in their quarters.
