Anne Heche has been reportedly signed by "The Michael J . Fox Show" to play Fox's rival news anchor, Susan Rodriquez-Jones.
Heche’s character is a “sharp, savvy and tough-as-nails” woman who is lovable and goofy, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Fox will be featured as an anchor who has taken a five-year break from his job due to Parkinson’s disease (which he has in real life) who rejoins Rodriquez-Jones on the show.
The the show's premiere is scheduled for Sept. 26 on NBC.
