Marlene and Cassie are a mother and daughter vegan duo that imaged a place where natural and delicious come together in an earth minded atmosphere. A place where locally grown ingredients make the menu come to life with bold seasonal fruits and vegetables. The culinary seed was planted and sprouted in the fall of 2009.

Marlene, the mother, bakes up a traditional pastry background with a certificate in Patisserie and Baking from Scottsdale Culinary Institute’s Cordon Bleu. She satisfies the sweet tooth with all natural favorites such as raw cheesecakes and raw donut holes that are mixture of raw cacao and pineapple.

Cassie, the daughter, is a graduate of The Natural Gourmet Cookery School in New York City. She crafts natural delights such as the raw collard wrap that is two large collard leaves stuffed with carrot, avocado, tomato & homemade almond cheese wrapped in collard greens served with raw golden flax crackers.

Pomegranate Café also freshly squeezes organic fruits and vegetables into works of juicy nutrition with a huge selection of tasty juices and smoothies such as the vibrance which boosts papayas, pineapple, strawberry, and coconut milk.

They also brew up wonderful coffee like Cassie’s Coconut Latte that is created with a combination of hemp, coconut milk, and sweetened with agave nectar.

Pomegranate Café isn’t just for vegetarians or vegans but it is for anyone that wants a delicious blend of all natural ingredients topped with a touch of sweetness.
