Shia LaBeouf spends quality time with impoverished children, work on publishing project

According to E! Online , 26-year-old Transformers star Shia LaBeouf has been spending some time with some less fortunate kids in Los Angeles.

He also seemed to have a little bit of a soft spot for some of the children who are suffering extremely impoverished lives.

LaBeouf, who has had a few bouts with the law over the past few years, has also decided to channel his life into a website he created, The Campaign Book.

Publishing graphic novels, art and anything that comes to mind, LaBeouf seems to be doing pretty well for himself.

E! Online says that he recorded his experiences volunteering with the impoverished children as part of a project for The Campaign Book.
