“The Color Purple” actress Rae Dawn Chong is now trying to clear up the “colorful” language she used to describe her 1985 costar Oprah Winfrey in a Matty P’s Radio Happy Hour segment June 27.
Slamming Winfrey using the N-word and calling her “vile,” Chong is now saying that TMZ, who posted the radio segment, twisted her words, according to The Los Angeles Times .
She posted a YouTube video with the claims TMZ took her words out of context and that she regrets her word choice, however, she does not take back everything she said.
