PHOENIX - Daniel Radcliffe reportedly said he doesn’t know why people are shocked about the gay sex scenes in his upcoming movie, according to a Tuesday report .
The actor, mostly known for his role as Harry Potter, acts in several sex scenes in the yet-to-be-released film "Kill Your Darlings", and many of his fans are surprised at the role, according to Advocate.com.
The Advocate reported that Radcliffe, who is an LGBT rights supporter, said that he doesn’t know why people would find a gay sex scene more shocking than a straight sex scene.
He told the advocate, “For me, there’s something very strange about that because we see sex scenes all the time.”
This isn’t Radcliffe’s first controversial role. According to the report, he was in the Broadway play "Equus", and appeared nude onstage for his role.
