The autopsy report of Christopher Wallace, also known as Notorious B.I.G., has been released after the 1997 shooting that killed the famous 24-year-old rapper.

Details in the report show that the rapper was shot four times, but only one of the shots was fatal.

The fatal shot was reportedly the last, entering near his right hip, going through many organs and exiting near his shoulder.

The previous three shots included one to his forearm and wrist, one through his back and another through one of his thighs.

According to TMZ.com , those shots missed vital organs and would not have killed Notorious B.I.G, the autopsy report states.

The rapper was shot in 1997 on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles as he was riding in the passenger seat of a vehicle.

After being transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead, doctors found the bullets that passed through the door of the vehicle.

Toxicology reports found no drugs or alcohol in Notorious B.I.G.'s system at the time of his death.
