NEW ORLEANS - Lil Wayne stomped on the American flag for his new music video “God Bless Amerika” in hometown New Orleans over the weekend, which has created a stir online.
His performance begins with him rapping in front of the flag then, after it is released to the floor, he continues treading on the stars and stripes, reported TMZ.
The rapper’s new song lyrics, “My country ‘tis of thee / Sweet land of kill ‘em all and let ‘em die / God bless Amerika / This ole’ godless Amerika,” are just as controversial as the video stunt.
