NEW ORLEANS - Lil Wayne is claiming that he did not intentionally step on the American flag while shooting his new music video, “God Bless Amerika.”
However, he can be seen looking down as he is walking all over the flag during the video shoot in New Orleans over the weekend, reported TMZ .
Wayne tweeted, "I didn't step on the flag on purpose! It's a scene in a video where the flag drops behind me and after it drop it's just there as I perform."
Because the rapper refers to America as “ole’ godless Amerika” in his video, it may make it difficult to believe that the message was unintentional.
