Kimberly Buffington-Quaid files for legal separation from husband Dennis Quaid

PHOENIX - Kimberly Buffington-Quaid, Dennis Quaid’s wife, has filed for legal separation from her husband of eight years, according to TMZ .
The couple reportedly split because Kimberly was tired of Dennis cheating on her.
TMZ reported that Kimberly is asking for joint legal and sole physical custody over their two children, four-year-old twins. They added that she supports Dennis having visitation rights.
Kimberly reportedly hopes to file a complete divorce in several months. TMZ reported she has to wait because the couple moved to California this summer and the state requires six months of residency before a divorce can be filed.
Kimberly filed for divorce in March, but after two months, decided not to go through with it, according to TMZ. Read more.
