Just before reaching the one-year mark, Kate Gosselin's lost her job at CouponCabin.com.
The mom of eight and former reality TV star has been let go from her position as a blogger at the website, where she was brought on last November.
The founder and CEO of CouponCabin, Scott Kluth, said in a statement that it was "a series of recent events" that led to the decision to pull the plug on Gosselin's role with the website, which he started nine years ago with the intent of featuring "all the best coupons... no gimmicks, no fluff."
Kluth didn't offer details about this mysterious "series of events," but he did say that they made it "clear to me that Kate Gosselin and her contributions do not align with the authenticity which we set out to build almost a decade ago, and that Ms. Gosselin is simply not a good fit with the wonderful team and culture at CouponCabin."
Gosselin seems to be taking life - and, presumably, this firing - in stride, as she tweeted Tuesday, "Good afternoon!I'm alive!I've been super busy working away!I'm having lots of fun and can't wait to share! No worries..we will chat soon! XO"
