Jenna Dewan-Tatum 'proud' of husband Channing Tatum's 'sexiest man alive' title from 'People'

The wife of the 2012 “sexiest man alive” is quite proud of her husband.

People magazine made the announcement Thursday that Channing Tatum, 32, was their pick this year.

His wife, 31-year-old actress Jenna Dewan-Tatum, found out in a very random way, according to People.

Dewan-Tatum said she and her husband were cleaning skunk spray off their dogs at the time, the report said.

And he apparently mentioned it out of nowhere: “Oh, by the way, I was named People’s ‘sexiest man alive.’”

After the shock subsided, she laughed and thought it was the "strangest" way to find out, wrote People.com.

Many blogs on the internet also started posting about how Tatum’s wife is just as “sexy” as he is.

The two met when they were co-stars in the movie "Step Up."

She said her husband's new title is "quite an honor" since previous recipients include Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Matt Damon, and last year's Bradley Cooper.
