"The Voice" coach Christina Aguilera finally has her celebrity dream team together.

Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has joined her squad on the hit NBC talent competition as a mentor.

A tweet sent out by the show's staff on Thursday heralded his arrival: "Welcome Billie Joe (@BJAofficial) to #TeamXtina! We are ready to rock out in Season 3."

Armstrong joins three new mentors on the singing competition: Rob Thomas (who's down with Cee Lo Green); Mary J. Blige (Adam Levine); and Michael Buble (Blake Shelton).

Armstrong reportedly began taping his segments on "The Voice" Wednesday; the series went into production last month.

The third season of "The Voice" premieres September 10.
