PHOENIX - Danica Patrick reportedly filed for divorce in Arizona on January 3, ending her 7-year marriage with Paul Hospenthal, according to SportingNews.com .
The website reported that Patrick filed for divorce in the Superior Court of Arizona in Maricopa County.
The reason for the divorce was the "irretrievably broken" marriage with Hospenthal, she reportedly stated in the filing.
According to Sporting News, the couple has a prenuptial agreement and a settlement agreement that they will present to the court.
