Britney Spears leaves 'X Factor': Spears won't be judge next season, reports say

PHOENIX - Britney Spears won't be returning to "The X Factor" judge's panel after the show's ratings dipped during the past season, Eonline.com reported Thursday.
According to E! News, Spears decided she wasn't coming back before she could be forced out because judge Simon Cowell, the show's creator, was reportedly not pleased with Spear's performance throughout the season.
E! News reported that Spears will now focus on her music career and plans to complete her eighth studio album.
According to the report, judge L.A. Reid will also be leaving the show.
