Snow forces Katie Holmes to skip fashion presentation to pick up daughter

Actress KATIE HOLMES was forced to skip an afternoon of meetings and private presentations for New York Fashion Week on Friday (08Feb13) due to blizzards sweeping across America's East Coast.
The Batman Begins star has been busy showing off the latest creations in her Holmes & Yang collection in one-on-one viewings with potential buyers and members of the media, but she was called away on Friday to pick up her daughter Suri as heavy snow prompted principals to close her school early, reports People.com.
Instead, Holmes' business partner Jeanne Yang took over the presentations for the day.
The snow storm has already forced designer Marc Jacobs to postpone his New York Fashion Week runway show from Monday (11Feb13) to Thursday (14Feb13) after a number of key items failed to arrive in time due to delivery delays.
