Singer SEAN KINGSTON is facing a $5 million lawsuit from a woman who alleges he raped her in a hotel room.
Kingston was cleared of any wrongdoing following a complaint from the woman in 2010 after cops who investigated ruled she was not a credible witness and there was doubt over her version of events.
But the 22 year old has now launched legal proceedings against the star, a bodyguard, and another member of his team, alleging they were all involved in the incident, according to TMZ.com.
The woman and a female friend told cops in July, 2010 they were attacked by the Beautiful Girls hitmaker after going to a party in his suite at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Seattle, Washington.
Editors at TMZ.com report the woman alleges in the lawsuit that her life has been ruined by the incident, claiming she struggles to sleep and suffers panic attacks and mood swings.
Kingston denies her allegations. The case is due to reach a court in November (13).
