ROBERT PATTINSON was forced to wear a wig while completing reshoots for the final installment of TWILIGHT after buzzing off his hair for a new role.

The 26 year old wrapped up shooting for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 last spring (11) and took a lead role in Cosmopolis, which centers around a young man's trip to the barber.

However, when director Bill Condon called Pattinson and his girlfriend Kristen Stewart back to Vancouver, Canada towards the end of April (12) to film a few more scenes for Twilight, there were several continuance problems.

The British star was asked to wear a hair piece and Pattinson admits the color was a little off.

Speaking to fans at Comic-Con in San Diego, California last week (begs09Jul12), he said, "We had to do the re-shoots a few weeks ago and it was the first time I had to wear a wig. I couldn't believe my last two days on Twilight they put this orange wig on my hair. (It was) like Frankenstein's monster (and) an amalgamation of six (different) wigs."
