NICKI MINAJ is hoping to spread a little Thanksgiving cheer by returning to her Queens, New York elementary school to give away turkeys.
The Starships singer returned to her old neighborhood on Monday (19Nov12) to hand out free turkeys to locals hit hard by the devastation of Hurricane Sandy and she admits she had mixed feelings about the charity drive.
Shortly before her trip back to Queens, Minaj said, "I have no idea if my teachers are still there... One of my teachers that was there... I still keep in contact with her, and she lost, like, everything in Hurricane Sandy.
"I'm hoping I can see and help as many people as possible."
