Miley Cyrus goes viral in dance video

MILEY CYRUS became a Twitter.com sensation on Wednesday night (20Mar13) after a video of her dancing in a unicorn costume went viral.

The singer/actress sent users of the social networking site into a frenzy by uploading footage of her showing off her best 'twerking' moves to rapper J. Dash's track WOP.

The star shakes her butt for the camera in the raunchy routine and only reveals her identity at the end of the clip when she removes a hood from her face.

The 20 year old, who has denied reports she has split from fiance Liam Hemsworth, also keeps her engagement ring covered up by wearing a glove on her left hand.

"MCtwerkteam" quickly became a Twitter trending topic and a thrilled Cyrus told her millions of followers, "My fans are the dopestttttt (sic). Mctwerkteam is trending worldwide... my night is complete."

Cyrus' celebrity pals also showed their support - producer Pharrell Williams, rapper French Montana and models Amber Rose and Cara Delevingne all shared links to the clip on their Twitter pages.

Hip-hop star Nelly added, "Check out my lil sis!" and Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am wrote, "Check out my homegirl Miley Cyrus twerk... twerk it girl, work it girl... don't hurt it girl..."
