Country trio LADY ANTEBELLUM have launched a new charity initiative to help the world's children.
The group is spearheading a global project with five organisations as part of LadyAID.
Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood announced the project in Nashville, Tennessee on Monday (03Dec12).
Singer Kelley says, "One thing we have always agreed on was helping kids. There is so much need out there. We hope that we can make a great impact with this."
And bandmate Scott revealed that her visits to Haiti inspired her to help the globe's struggling kids.
She says, "There is nothing better than giving someone a gift and seeing the joy that comes to their faces."
Lady Antebellum will headline a concert in 2013 to benefit their charity initiative.
