KEITH URBAN paid tribute to Red Cross volunteers who have helped the relief efforts in flooded areas of Brisbane, Australia during a show on Monday night (04Feb13) by calling them up onstage.

The country star had to postpone a show in the city twice last month (Jan13) because of flooding and he finally made it onstage at the beginning of the week.

He told fans, "It took a few tries but we made it back... More importantly, you made it back and we really appreciate that."

Urban then introduced the charity volunteers to the crowd, stating, "This is just 15 of the thousands of people around Australia and especially Queensland who all too often remain nameless.

"They put their a**e on the line and get amongst it to help us rebuild and we want to thank them."
