Jake Owen's dad undergoes cancer surgery

Country star JAKE OWEN paid a surprise visit to his father on Friday (25Jan13) as he underwent cancer surgery in Minnesota.
The singer reveals his dad was recently hospitalized for the procedure, but he is already making a good recovery.
In a Twitter.com post on Friday (25Jan13), he writes, "Surprised my Dad today at Mayo Clinic in MN.. He had cancer surgery on his neck. Doing great.. My love to all that have dealt with Cancer."
No further details about Owen Sr.'s condition were available as WENN went to press.
