Idol star Phillip Phillips' mom arrested

AMERICAN IDOL winner PHILLIP PHILLIPS' mom has been arrested in the singer's native Georgia.

Sheryl Phillips was taken into custody on Thursday (14Feb13) after undercover Albany cops spotted her vehicle swerving through traffic.

Officers reportedly administered a field sobriety test and Phillips was unable to complete it.

She was booked on a DUI charge, according to TMZ.com.
