TAYLOR SWIFT, REBA MCENTIRE and BLAKE SHELTON were among the stars who honored legendary singer GEORGE STRAIT at the Country Radio Hall of Fame event in Nashville, Tennessee on Tuesday (26Feb13).
The 60-year-old music veteran received the Country Radio Broadcasters' 2013 Career Achievement Award, and his famous friends surprised him with a video tribute.
Dierks Bentley and Tim McGraw also featured in the pre-recorded clip, and Strait revealed he felt overwhelmed by the recognition, telling the audience, "This is so special because it comes from country radio. One of the great things about being in country music is getting to be with people like you who are in this room tonight. I'm so honored. I appreciate this so much."
Other inductees at the Nashville Convention Center ceremony included radio personalities Dr. Don Carpenter, Crook & Chase, Eddie Edwards and Bill 'Dex' Poindexter.
