Acclaimed fashion designer DIANE VON FURSTENBERG is resting at her Los Angeles home after breaking her shoulder.
The 66 year old was on vacation in Aspen, Colorado earlier this week (begs25Mar13) when she took a tumble while skiing and suffered minor injuries.
In a post on Twitter.com, she writes, "Sometimes the universe gives you signs... 'stay still ' is the message I got from my ski fall and broken shoulder... Oh well..could have been worse. love is life."
The star is now recuperating in California and she tells Women's Wear Daily, "I broke my shoulder in three places. No surgery required. I am resting and mending in my house in L.A."
This isn't the style icon's first accident on the slopes - she broke her nose and cheekbone during a crash in 2011.
