British movie couple DANIEL CRAIG and RACHEL WEISZ are in talks to team up on the Broadway stage, according to U.K. reports.

The pair met and fell in love while shooting ill-fated movie flop Dream House and now it appears they're keen to work together again.

The Daily Mail reports that they are close to signing on to play a married couple in Harold Pinter's Betrayal, which will open in New York later this year (13).

If the stars sign on, the project will mark Weisz's Broadway debut.

Academy Award-winner Mike Nichols is the frontrunner to direct the play.
