Australian pop star CODY SIMPSON has posed for a new advertisement for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).
The teen sensation is seen smiling as he holds his beloved dog Buddy in the ad, which contains the messages "Make your animals' life paradise" and "Respect who they are" in bold print.
The star is calling on his fans to give their pets love and attention and urges them not to be afraid to report animal cruelty if they see it.
He says, "Never leave your dog in a hot car. It's important to speak up if you ever come across a situation like that... You can tell your parent, or tell an adult you trust, really. I wouldn't leave the situation until it's been resolved and everything's OK."
