Blake Lively wears yellow at premiere to honor Stone's vision

BLAKE LIVELY wore a yellow outfit to the New York premiere of her new movie SAVAGES - because the color helped her land the role in OLIVER STONE's thriller.
The actress stunned in the Gucci gown on the red carpet on Wednesday night (27Jun12) and told reporters there was a special reason she wore yellow.
She explained, "This dress was made for me by Gucci... I love yellow and it's actually an ode to my first meeting with Oliver; I came in wearing a yellow dress.
"We were talking about who the character should be because she was very cynical and he goes, 'She needs to be this girl, this bright, hopeful, yellow girl, the sunshine girl', so I thought I would bring it full circle."
