NEW YORK - His letters and diaries already are best-sellers. Now, Ronald Reagan's private collection of jokes and aphorisms is being published.
HarperCollins announced Wednesday that "The Notes" will come out May 10, as part of the ongoing centennial of the former president's birth.
The book will include quotations from Abraham Lincoln, Winston Churchill and others, along with some of Reagan's favorite jokes, written by hand on index cards.
Upon publication of the book, the note cards themselves will be displayed at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum, in Simi Valley, Calif.
