Tim Vetscher joined the ABC15 News team as a general assignment reporter in March of 2007.
He's now a Multimedia Journalist at the station.
Before coming to the Valley, Tim worked in a similar capacity at the CBS affiliate, KCTV, in Kansas City, Missouri. Tim's career has also taken him to Memphis, TN, Lincoln, NE, and Alexandria, MN.
Tim serves as an Adjunct Professor at both Paradise Valley Community College and the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. Additionally, he has served as the faculty advisor to the ABC News on Campus bureau at ASU.
Tim is originally from Saint Paul, Minnesota and is a 1998 graduate of Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Tim is currently the President of The Marquette Alumni Club of Phoenix.
Marquette's Diederich College Of Communication named Tim Young Alumnus of the Year for 2010.
Tim is involved with several Valley charities, including St. Mary's Food Bank, Wings to Fly and the American Heart Association.
The Phoenix Business Journal named him one of the Forty Under 40 in 2010, which honors young leaders in Phoenix.
Away from work, Tim enjoys cheering on his alma mater's basketball team, the Marquette Golden Eagles and playing with his Border Terrier, Truman. Tim is also an avid golfer as well as a huge fan of live music.
