Brandon Hamilton joined the ABC15 News Team in December 2011 as a Traffic Anchor and Multimedia Journalist.
As someone who loves to travel, he didn’t mind the 1,800 mile trek from his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Brandon’s passion for TV began after high school when he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the movie business. He says being on Hollywood movie sets was fun, but a college education called his name.
After moving back to his hometown, Brandon graduated from Northern Kentucky University and began his television news career at WLWT-TV in Cincinnati where he was a traffic reporter and special assignment reporter.
Although Cincinnati will always in his heart, he is happy to call Phoenix his new home and is excited about adding hiking to his workout routine.
Brandon has many interests outside of traffic which include traveling, exploring, history & sports to name a few.
He also has a mysterious side, as he loves exploring the unexplained whether it is ghost stories, myths, or even UFOs. He says he will be keeping his eyes on the sky here in the desert southwest.
