Adam Slinger joined ABC15 News as a Mutlimedia Journalist in July 2011.

Before coming to Arizona, Adam reported for WSYX/WTTE-TV in his hometown of Columbus, Ohio.

Before making the leap in front of the camera, Adam worked behind the scenes at the weekend edition of NBC's "Today." From inside 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York City, he produced and booked guests for the morning program and assisted in the production of several NBC News Special Reports, including the space shuttle Columbia disaster, Operation: Iraqi Freedom, and the capture of Saddam Hussein.

In September of 2001, immediately following 9/11, he worked on "CBS News Sunday Morning."

Adam has a bachelor's degree from New York University where he studied politics and American history. He also spent several months in London, England studying Middle Eastern politics and the British media.

During times of need, he volunteers with The Salvation Army and The American Red Cross.

Adam and his wife, Jill, live in Ahwatukee with their son, Austin.
