PHOENIX - Local sportscaster Paul Calvisi joined the ABC15 sports team on Monday, July 9.  Paul has a reputation of shaping his sportscasts to cater to both sports fans and non-fans alike.

Calvisi grew up with a passion for sports and has a history of finding the creative approach to his coverage.  He has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA in Sports Business from Arizona State University.

Calvisi is a multiple Emmy-award winner who has been part of the Arizona community for nearly two decades, most recently at KTAR radio and as a member of the Arizona Cardinals broadcasting team.  He will continue with both jobs.

"As ABC15 set out to find a way to re-define sports in this market, we realized that we need to do something bold.  Paul's penchant for being edgy, entertaining and informative makes him a great partner for sports director Craig Fouhy who has established himself as a trusted, smart and engaging voice in the sports community," said Anita Helt, ABC15 Vice President and General Manager.

Paul Calvisi joined ABC15 sports department on Monday, July 9.
