PHOENIX - ABC15 Mornings is now on the weekends! Viewers can count on seven-day consistency for their morning wakeup routine.

Our new weekend newscast airs from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. on both Saturdays and Sundays, and for an extra hour on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.  The debut makes ABC15 the only Phoenix station to offer weekend news before 7 a.m.

Our weekend edition of ABC15 Mornings is anchored by award-winning Multimedia journalist Christopher Sign and Meteorologist Iris Hermosillo.  The newscast covers all of the morning's news and advances the biggest stories that have aired on ABC15 during the previous week.

The newscast also has the unique opportunity to spotlight community events that are happening around the Valley.

Our new programming means that Good Morning America Weekend has moved to a new time at 7 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, allowing viewers to count on America’s No. 1 morning newscast every day at that time. On Sundays, Joel Osteen’s Ministries moves to a new home at 9:30 a.m.

Here's the ABC15 complete morning lineup, as of Saturday, January 19:

Saturdays
5 a.m.       ABC15 Mornings
7 a.m.       Good Morning America Weekend

Our new weekend morning newscast compliments the weekday edition of ABC15 Mornings with anchors Dan Spindle, Connie Colla, Amy Murphy and Brandon Hamilton.

The weekday newscast airs from 4:30 a.m. to 7 a.m., and the team returns for an hour-long mid-day newscast at 11 a.m.
