ABC15 announces the launch of mobile live streaming, becoming the first television station in Phoenix to bring you this exciting, new technology for mobile phones and tablets, including the Apple™ iPad. The live mobile streaming allows viewers to watch live video on the go, making it easier to follow breaking news as it happens.
The video works with the existing ABC15 mobile app, which means anyone with the downloaded app can conveniently access the live stream content. When it comes to breaking news, severe weather and special events, you can now watch it all LIVE on your mobile screen with ABC15.
"It's really about making it more convenient for everyone to get the information they need anywhere. The live streaming feature transforms our digital platform in a new and exciting direction by directly benefiting the user," said Anita Helt, vice president and general manager of ABC15.
