ABC15 and the East Valley Tribune have entered into a partnership that will enable the station and paper to better serve television viewers, readers and online audiences throughout the state of Arizona.
The partnership will have very deep digital root with abc15.com and eastvalleytribune.com . The multi-faceted cooperation also establishes a formal relationship between the news departments of both operations.
“It’s exciting to partner with a news organization that believes in the same core values that we do at ABC15”, said Anita Helt, vice president and general manager at ABC15. “Building relationships is one of the best ways to make Arizona a better place to live.”
“This venture will allow the Tribune, and ABC15 to better serve our audiences, both in the East Valley and across the Phoenix region,” said Terry Horne, publisher of the Tribune and general manager of 1013 Communications Arizona, the Tribune’s parent company. “The partnership improves our positions as the region’s premier information sources. We think ABC15 is a perfect match for how we see ourselves doing business and serving our audience.”
The partnership between ABC15 and the East Valley Tribune begins immediately.
