Peanut Butter Americano makes a peanut butter with 100 percent of the dark chocolate peanut butter going toward extraditing extreme poverty in the Americas.
Chocolate Crunch Peanut Butter
What you need:
--2 lbs roasted shelled peanuts
--18 regular-sized KitKat sticks (6.75 oz.)
--High-powered food processor
--A few mason jars
Yields approximately 2.5 lbs. of peanut butter.
1. First, get your favorite variety of peanuts. PB Americano prefers the Spanish peanut for its higher natural oil content and rich taste. Some people prefer the traditional Runner peanut, while others like the sweet Valencia.
2. Add the peanuts to the food processor and grind them up for 3 minutes, or until you get a good spread. Times may vary depending on your machine.
3. Add in the Kit Kat sticks and blend for 1 minute.
4. Scoop into your jars and enjoy! They think it goes great on vanilla ice cream and bananas, too!
