Phoenix: MLK March and Parade
Assemble at 9 a.m. at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, 1401 East Jefferson Street. Festival at 10 a.m. at Margaret T. Hance Deck Park, Central Avenue south of McDowell Road.
Mesa: MLK Parade and Community Festival
The parade will begin at University and Center and proceed to the Mesa Arts Center. 11 a.m.
Arizona's National Parks: Fee-free day at national parks in Arizona, including the Grand Canyon
No entrance fee to the Grand Canyon and all other Arizona national parks
MLK Basketball Classic:
Grand Canyon University starting at noon
Arizona State University starting at 11 a.m.
University of Arizona starting at noon
Northern Arizona University:
"Dare to Dream" march begins at 4:30 p.m. at the University Union and ends at the DuBois Center Ballroom for a celebration
