To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington, in which Dr. Martin Luther King delivered his "I Have a Dream" speech, a rally will be held in Phoenix on Saturday, August 24.
4 p.m. - Tanner Chapel AME Church - 20 S. 8th Street, Phoenix.
5 p.m. - The march route will begin at the southwest corner of 8th and Washington streets and head west on Washington Street to 15th Avenue and finish a the Arizona State Capitol lawn.
6 p.m. - A program in the format of the August 28, 1963 event will begin.
