The record for consecutive days of 110+ temperatures is 18. This was set back in June of 1974. The record heat wave began June 12th and ended on June 29th

The record for the total number of days of 110+ temperatures is 32 which occurred back in the summer of 2007.

Last summer was also impressive with 22 days of at 110 degree temperatures.

The average number of days a year we see 110+ temperatures is 18. That is if you average out the last 30 years. If you go back to 1896 and do the average ,that number is only 11.
