What United States ski resort had the most snow in a single season?

Mount Baker Ski Area, outside of Bellingham, Washington, picked up 1,140 inches of snow during the 1998-1999 ski-season.

The previous record was held by Mount Rainier, Washington, in 1971-1972 when 1,122 inches of snow fell.

A bit of trivia you can share with your friends – The Guinness Book of World Records lists the largest snowflake at 15 inches wide, which fell in January of 1987 in Fort Keogh, Montana.
