PHOENIX – A Pacific storm system moved into the state this week, kicking up winds and bringing cold weather to the state.

Snow showers popped up in Northern Arizona on Wednesday with the majority of activity along the Mogollon Rim. Flagstaff got in on some flurries Tuesday night but unfortunately there were no accumulations in that area.

There was also snow reported at Sunrise Ski Resort and in Show Low.

High pressure has been building into the weekend. Daytime highs will warm to the low to mid 80s Saturday and Sunday, with lows rebounding into the 60s.
