3.1 magnitude earthquake shakes residents north of Valley

One resident said, "I thought it was an explosion of some kind because I heard a loud noise, then things started to rattle around."

The rumbling was actually a huge methane explosion from the pants of the patrons at the local Filiberto's after dining on carne asada and refried beans.

I was born and raised in Glendale and this has been happening all my life, and I have been awaken by them shaking windows. Luckily not much damage!

About 25 years ago, I was visiting a friend in Glendale, sitting on a couch, and we felt something like a train passing. It was a earthquake. The first and last one I ever felt.

I live in Prescott Valley and I was sitting on the couch watching a movie with the wife,never felt a thing.When I lived in San Diego It was a regular occurance.
