Can I order that show on video?
ABC 's tape service is 1-800-505-6139 or
www.abcnewsstore.com. Be aware that ABC normally only makes their news programs available for sale. Entertainment programs are rarely available. ABC will post a number if the movie or entertainment special is available for sale. Viewers can tape a program as it is being broadcast.
Transcripts are available from The Transcription Company: 818-848-6500 or www.transcripts.tv. You will need to provide the name of the program as well as the date the show aired.
During regional college football, why do you always show the PAC 10 game?
One of the downsides to regional football coverage is that it does not always mean the best game of the day. ABC has new TV contracts with the NCAA conferences. Under the PAC 10 contract, stations with conference home teams must take the conference games. Since Arizona State is in the PAC 10, under regional coverage we will always receive the PAC 10 game. When there are two PAC 10 games available, we will receive the southern region PAC 10 game.
Why do you sometimes broadcast in Spanish?
Many ABC-provided programs are simulcast in Spanish. This is done using your television's SAP audio channel. If you do not want to receive this, go into your setup screen and make sure your TV is set to either stereo or mono, not SAP.
