youwish what DPS or budget conference have you been to? As a DPS officer and having attended budget meetings; I'd like to inform you that they were held in a trailer with a swamp cooler in 99 degree weather and we did not eat. Meals have never ever been provided by the department. We discussed the sad situation, I then returned to my home and told my wife over dinner that I might be laid off until further notice on July 1st. Oh, and that we had to cancel her birthday dinner plans for the 30th due to the fact that we wouldn't be getting paid for the last two weeks of pay either. So don't post comments about what you assume to be reality.

This country sucks and is out of control. I hope you people are happy. Is obama saving us yet? Muhahaha, losers.

How does DPS currently even remotely "protect and serve"? Hahaha, what a bunch of BS. Good, I hope the money runs out. A year and a half later and I am still unemployed by choice so that I don't have to pay taxes. Cash under the table in my pocket, how do you like citizens that play your own game? Hahaha. Losers.

Azldy,I dont know how to respond to that except to say thanks.I do think there are many that are much more qualified than me though.I would however, like very much to be an inspiring voice to get people collectively to demand proper action by government.I will be behind it with body, soul and rifle if If the situation demands.Someone is listening!

kalshnicovdude - I'm voting for YOU for Governor, AND President! I couldn't have said it better.

Azldy,Id be fine with that too,as long as the price of ammo went down and availability went up.Seriously, the decisions being made, need only to be looked at by the people to see the obvious lack of interest in the true welfare of our communities. All we need now is to stand up and TAKE IT BACK!I am not advocating anarchy,I dont even want to get rid of everybody in government, well not all of em.I just want to make an example of a select few who are the worst offenders, and to make the others see that we are serious about the accountability that comes with the positions they hold. Its not a joke. They have the money to run our government! They got it from us!
