They run people over for no reason here in PHX, but they stop and wait for a chicken to cross the road. WTF!

Once again ABC15 missed the mark on good journalism.Inquiring minds want to know, why did the chicken cross the road?

You know, with all the bad news and crime we read about every day on here, it is kind of refreshing and heartwarming to know that there are people out there who are NOT willing to kill something for their own benefit. Wow, humans who care. Nice!

3rd day in a row for SLOWING on I-17... 1st day was "furniture" in the road? 2nd day was "trash and belongings" on the road? 3rd day a "fricken chicken" in the road? Maybe the rooster was looking for his chair and shoes, that the ole' mama hen threw out!

I agree with Jahoo, I would have just ran the damn thing over and not have given it a second thought. People are stupid to back up traffic for 10 miles because of a stupid chicken.

All coments to this point also are dead on.

I got a laugh out it. Funniest thing I've heard for several days!

Let's hope that the DPS didn't "choke the chicken" too much. The state budget can't afford to but glasses for all of them. bItEtHeApPle

JAHOOH - 7/3/2009 3:17 PM
why did everyone stop for a frickin chicken??? I would have run the damn thing over and kept going on with the rest of my life and not allowing a 10 mile back up.... it is just a chicken not like they are endangered or close to it
