The Department of Public Safety has provided the following update to road conditions as of 1pm.
DPS continues to urge those traveling north to use extreme caution and be aware of Black Ice and less than ideal roadway conditions.
Mohave County :
Interstate 40: Reopened with no restrictions.
US 66: Closed in both directions between Peach Springs and Seligman due to road conditions.
SR 68: Open but has been frequently blocked by disabled vehicles becoming stuck in the snow and ice at Union pass or milepost 12. SR 68 connects Kingman and Bullhead City/ Laughlin, Nev.
SR 93: Open and passable.
SR 95: Open and passable.
Coconino County:
Interstate 17 : Open and passable
Interstate 40: Open and passable
US 180: Closed indefinitely.
SR 89: Open and passable
Gila / Navajo Counties:
State Route 260 : Closed in both directions to all traffic, in-between Heber and Star Valley (just outside of Payson).
State Route 87: Restricted to chains or four wheel drive in-between Strawberry and Clints Well.
US 60: Open and passable. US 60 was previously closed between Superior and Miami and the Salt River Canyon was closed as well but has since been cleared.
Gila/ Pima Counties:
SR 77: Closed. SR 77 is expected to be opened up very soon in-between Globe and Kearny-Winkleman area.
Yavapai County:
All state highways are open and passable in Yavapai County.
Cochise County:
All state highways open and passable
Pima County:
All state highways open and passable
